I don't doubt his qualifications, but what's up with this?

"I can narrow down the moment I saw my first Dead show to a four- to five-month period, when I was college somewhere in the fall of 1985."

How many of you cannot say when your first Dead show was?

That is a bit odd...I would reckon every here has posted about it more than once...But, for this job, not sure we need an "insider", or a fanatic (most of us)...still, odd.

Most of you know I am a biologist, and I will never forget the time, date, place, I met my "hero" in biology, out in the field no less, and I even strangely/appropiately/absurdly, used the line "Doctor Livingston (insert real name here) I presume?" (at least all the students with him laughed, as did he--we had corresponded since I was a kid, and this was in late HS).

I can't, I can narrow it down a little further than Nicholas M. but I don't have the history most of you have.
